Author guidelines

Before submission

Manuscripts must be original, approved by all authors and not simultaneously submitted elsewhere. Include ethics approval, informed consent, funding and conflicts where applicable.

Submission files

• Main manuscript in DOC, DOCX or PDF
• Optional cover letter
• Title, abstract, keywords, authors and affiliations in the portal
• Applicable reporting checklist such as CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE, CARE, STARD or ARRIVE
